Panetta Physical Therapy's Karen Eckardt, PT, works with Edison Blanco, an MD and competitive ballroom dancer.  By identifying the underlying issues that were inhibiting Blanco's performance and causing him discomfort, she was able to help improve his dancing and eliminate his pain.  Blanco and his professional partner went on to win 1st place in their first pro-am competition following his treatment.

 

Following the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, Richard and Christina Panetta brought Mana Alexander and her baby, Wolf, back to the United States with them.  Both of Mana's legs were injured in the earthquake, leading to a double amputation and a variety of complications. Thanks to generous donations from doctors, surgeons, and friends in the community, Mana was able to have the necessary surgeries and was fitted for prosthetics.  She is in the process of learning to walk again.
